Privacy policy

Effective August 9, 2026

Unqueue acts on your behalf for customer-service tasks — contacting merchants, holding on lines, sending emails. That means we handle real information about you and the people you deal with. Here's what we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

Who we are

Unqueue acts on your behalf for customer-service tasks — returns, cancellations, rescheduling, disputes, and more. This policy explains what we collect while doing that work, why, and what rights you have over it. Questions go to [email protected].

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo through our identity provider, Auth0. We never see or store your Google password.

To act on your behalf, we collect the details of each task you give us — order numbers, purchase details, merchant names, account references, and the messages exchanged while we work on it.

We also collect basic usage data automatically — IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit — through standard web analytics.

How we use it

We use your information to complete the tasks you send us, keep you updated on their progress, secure your account, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How AI is involved

Completing a task often means using a third-party AI model to draft messages, evaluate merchant responses, or figure out next steps. We share only the details a task requires with our model providers, under agreements that prohibit them from using your data to train their models.

Who we share it with

The merchants and agents involved in a task, only to the extent that task requires. Service providers who help us run Unqueue — identity verification (Auth0), hosting, and our AI model providers — under agreements that limit them to that purpose. We disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active, and task records for as long as needed to complete and document that task, plus a limited period afterward for support, disputes, and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by writing to [email protected].

Your rights and choices

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by writing to us. If you're in the EEA, UK, or California, you have additional statutory rights — including the right to know what we hold, request deletion, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — and we won't discriminate against you for exercising them.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used. We don't use third-party advertising cookies. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies, though doing so may affect how the site works.

Security

We encrypt data in transit, restrict access on a need-to-know basis, and follow standard security practices. No system is completely secure, and if something ever goes wrong, we'll notify you as required by law.

Where your data is processed

Your data is processed in the United States. If you're accessing Unqueue from outside the US, you're transferring your data to a country whose privacy laws may differ from your own, and we take reasonable steps to protect it consistent with this policy.

Children

Unqueue isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). If we learn we've collected a child's information, we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Unqueue evolves. If a change is material, we'll post a notice on the site and update the effective date above. Continuing to use Unqueue after a change means you accept it.
