Questions & answers.
Tasks
What happens if I cancel a task?
Unqueue stops right away and won't send anything new to the brand. Anything the brand already agreed to before you cancelled, like a refund that's already been issued, stays in place.
Whatever Unqueue already did on a cancelled task still counts toward your monthly usage. The task stays on your profile so you can look back at it.
What happens if it can't resolve something?
We're just starting out, and we have a lot to learn. If Unqueue can't get it right, that task won't count against your plan. If it gets stuck, it'll come back and ask you a question to keep going. And depending on your plan, a real person can also step in and take over the task.
How do I see what Unqueue is doing?
Open the task from your profile. You'll see where it's up to, each step Unqueue has taken, and the outcome so far.
Something about my task looks wrong. What can I do?
Open the task and use "Something look off?" to tell us what's wrong in your own words. A person on our team will look at it and follow up.
Can I flag a task that's already marked done?
Yes, for 14 days after it was completed. After that, or if you cancelled the task yourself, start a new task instead.
Can I add more details after I've flagged a task?
Yes. Send another note from the same card, and it's added to what our team already has. You can send up to 5 notes per task in a day, each up to 2,000 characters.
Will I lose the original result?
No. The original outcome stays on the task so our team can compare it against what you tell us.
Plans & billing
What happens if I change my plan?
You can change your plan any time from Manage plan on your profile. Upgrades apply right away.
If you move to a lower plan, tasks already in progress keep running, and your Unqueue inbox stays exactly as it is.
How much does it cost?
Unqueue is free to join, and every plan comes with monthly usage — higher plans get more. Quick fixes use less than involved ones. If Unqueue can't resolve something, it doesn't count toward your usage, so you never lose any to a hiccup on our end.
What counts toward my monthly usage?
Each task counts toward your monthly usage, and harder tasks, with more back-and-forth with a brand, count for more. Tasks Unqueue couldn't resolve don't count.
Brands
Which brands can Unqueue work with today?
We're starting with a handful of the brands people use most, and consistently adding more.
My brand isn't listed. Can I request it?
Yes. Go to Browse brands from your profile and choose Request a brand. Tell us the brand's name and website, and add a note on why it matters to you. That helps us decide what to add next.
Can Unqueue contact a brand that isn't on the list?
Yes. Forward an email from that brand to your Unqueue address and we'll write to the address it came from for you. We'll ask you to approve the first email, and the brand is added only to your own account. It needs to be an email from a real address, not a no-reply one.
How do I remove a brand?
Choose Remove next to the brand, either under Your brands on your profile or in Browse brands. You can add it back from Browse brands any time.
Why am I asked for an ID check to verify my business?
If your business has no website of its own, we can't confirm you own it through your domain, so we confirm who you are instead. The check is run by Stripe: you take a photo of a government ID and a selfie, and Stripe tells us whether they match. We keep only the result. We never see or store your ID or selfie. One of our team then approves your verified badge.
The check is included in Max. If you'd rather not use a selfie or biometric check, write to [email protected] and we'll verify you another way.
Stripe keeps a copy of the data from your check. To have it deleted, contact Stripe at support.stripe.com, and tell us so we can delete our record of it too. Our privacy policy has the details.
Your inbox
Can I start a task by forwarding an email?
Yes. Forward the email, like an order confirmation or a refund refusal, to your Unqueue address. Add a line like "return this" above it if you want, but you don't have to. We start a task from it and email you back to confirm.
It only works from an email address you've verified on your profile. Mail from any other address is ignored.
Do I get an Unqueue inbox on the Free plan?
Yes. Every plan comes with its own Unqueue inbox, Free included. It's the address we use when we contact brands on your behalf, and where their replies arrive.
What happens to my inbox if I move to the Free plan?
Nothing changes. Your inbox and everything in it stay with you on every plan, so changing plans never deletes a message.
What if my payment fails or I cancel my subscription?
Your inbox isn't affected. It stays open, with all of its messages, whichever plan you end up on.
Can I download or export my inbox?
Not at the moment, but you can read every message in it from your profile at any time.
Privacy & account
What does Unqueue need access to?
We give you a dedicated Unqueue email address to use with brands, so we can look up your order details straight from there instead of asking you to dig them up. We're deliberately not asking for access to your personal inbox — that's yours, and we don't think we should see everything in it. It's also how we sleep better at night.
What are trusted emails?
Trusted emails are the personal addresses you've told us belong to you. You can add or remove them on your profile.
About Unqueue
Is this a chatbot I have to talk to?
No. You send one message describing what you want, and Unqueue does the entire back-and-forth with the brand itself. It only comes back to you if it truly needs an answer only you can give.
Is Unqueue an assistant like ChatGPT or Claude?
Not quite. Unqueue isn't a general-purpose assistant you chat with about anything — it's your personal assistant for one job: communicating with businesses on your behalf. You can reach it from inside the assistants you already use, or directly, and it goes and does the task instead of just talking about it.
Can Unqueue perform all the tasks I'm doing?
That's the goal — but Unqueue learns each type of task as it goes. The first time it handles something new, there can be a few rough edges while it figures out the right way to do it well. After that, it's smooth — for you and for everyone who asks for that same kind of thing after you. Early adopters are the ones paving that road.
